Our team of professionals oversee MTI’s construction materials testing projects. Our technical staff has extensive experience working with our clients ensuring proper design criteria are acknowledged and adhered. When approved materials are being used and construction proceeds according to the approved project plans, client can have a piece of mind their project is in compliance. Licensed professional engineers oversee MTI's construction materials testing projects and are available to trouble-shoot should issues arise during construction.

MTI's services are provided by Professional Engineers, Geologist and highly trained sampling crews and lab technicians. Our staff has extensive experience allowing us to provide high quality engineering services enabling you to construct a useful, reliable, and economical structure. Services provided involve geotechnical recommendations including bearing capacity, expansive soil movement, shallow and deep foundations, settlement studies, retaining wall analysis, slope stability, lateral earth pressures, earthwork and subgrade preparations, pavement design as well as advanced geotechnical testing.

Material Testing & Inspections accredited laboratories are a full service construction material and geotechnical laboratory where we determine the physical and engineering characteristics of the material samples retrieved during field investigations. Our laboratory is equipped to determine the physical properties of construction materials such as: asphaltic concrete soils/aggregate testing, and concrete . All testing is performed in accordance with local municipal requirements as well as ASTM, AASHTO, and ADOT, test methods.

Our inspectors witness, record and report the construction work performed by project contractors and subcontractors, as established in the project specifications, and as defined by the International Building Code (IBC) and local requirements. While maintaining our independent testing laboratory status, we are responsible to the local building officials, the structural engineer, the project architect, and most importantly, our client.
